How an application audit moves from intake to memo — document custody, reading order, and what you receive.
Application audits succeed when both sides know the sequence. This page describes how Logic Space handles a typical full packet engagement. Readiness checks and retainers follow the same custody rules with shorter deliverables.
Intake & custody
You send the draft packet and rules. We confirm receipt, assign a file code, and restrict access to the named reviewers.
Structured reading
We work form → justification → quotes → annexes → signatures, marking inconsistencies as we go rather than saving surprises for the end.
Memo & walkthrough
Findings arrive as a dated memo. An optional call walks the requester through each material gap before the committee date.
What “material” means here
A material gap is anything that, left unfixed, would reasonably cause an approver to return the file: missing mandatory attachments, amount mismatches, unsigned risk notes, or a routing path that skips a required chair. Stylistic preferences and optional annexes are listed separately as observations.
Document handling
- Files remain client property. We do not reuse packet contents as public case studies without written consent and anonymisation.
- At close, you choose return, secure deletion, or limited archive (up to 24 months) for follow-up questions.
- On-site reading rooms use clean desks; no personal USB copies leave the premises.
When we decline
We decline packets where we cannot obtain the governing threshold rules, or where the requester asks us to reverse-engineer a justification for a purchase already decided. We also decline supplier-side “win themes” dressed as approval audits.
